I really hate having unfinished projects that are just sitting there waiting for the ends to be woven in… But I also hate weaving in ends with a burning passion… Can’t I like… Just knot them and cut them and call it a day? :) …*sob* someone needs to come up with a miraculous solution to this.

Most of the way done my nearly-nephew’s baby blanket that’s been a year in the making. …but it won’t get done if Winnie keeps deciding to take naps in it while I’m trying to work! Lol. I just don’t have the heart to move her. She’s so cute… And she’s purring. *melts* I love my kitten baby… :3

So I know I still have to finish that pattern, but these were just so gorgeous I had to share them with you! (Even though I’m not done the pair yet) They’re for my friends Sarah’s birthday but I want to keep them they are so soft and gorgeous! ….Why don’t I get to make nice things for me anymore??? *sigh*
But I hope she’ll like them! They’re a pattern called Endpaper mitts (found here: http://www.eunnyjang.com/knit/2006/11/endpaper_mitts.html) The yarn is amazing! It’s a Michael’s store brand fingering weight called Loops & Threads Woolike. It’s acrylic/nylon so whatever it’s probably low quality but it doesn’t feel it! I would wear these forever!!! …and also super cost effective! $4 for a ball of 680 yds. So boo ya. I’m going to go and buy all the colours next time. They don’t have very many yet cause it’s pretty new but I hope they come out with more soon!
So I guess this is mostly a post about yarn. Haha. Oh! But also I did my nails! They’re a little chipped cause it’s been a few days so I have to freshen them up soon cause they’re for a costume next weekend. Maybe I’ll get photos of that too if it turns out good. :)

….oh crap really!? …Just looking at the pictures and I can see a mistake I made way at the beginning! *sob* will I never get a pattern right the first time around??? ..maybe I’ll have to make a second pair anyways… hmmmm…

EDIT
One more satisfied non-customer haha. :) They fit and she liked them yay! (Also they got finished before the party, so extra yay is in order!)

Just so people know, I am working on revising the LBD mitts pattern. I had some issues with it that I didn’t like. When done, I’ll post it, but my life is going to be pretty insane up until exams are done end of April so… it won’t be soon like I hoped. :( But someday I’ll have a lovely update with my first pattern. Yay! I have other ones I should post too… but that one’s been requested so it’ll go up first.

Soooo… this was made… um…. summer of… 2012? Lol. I never took pics of it before I gave it to kaito. Now she finally sent me the pics!! woot!
I still have another bag I want to make her. It will be epic. …and might be another 5 years in the making… *hangs head in shame* Anyways. This was fun to make. The feather has nothing to do with Doctor Who obviously but was the other bag with the DNAngel tie in so it’s in Krad’s colours. I did the inside in gold cause that’s just the colour impression I remember from the inside of the TARDIS (and then of course they kept changing it…)
Anyways. Making these bags were a lot of fun :) I need to try some more duct tape stuff soon!

Also, there are several other projects in the works at the moment, including a knitting pattern! Yay! I have some issues to work through in the pattern still (have been working on it but things keep being not quite right…) but once I have more time when school calms down I’ll work it out and post it up here :) yay! Possibly I’ll post some of my other ones too. We’ll have to see if I can find an easy way to create them digitally…
